RESUMEN: Trichaphanus fuentei (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Lygaeidae) está presente en Europa sólo en la Península Ibérica. La presente nota muestra las primeras fotografías identificadas de esta especie en Internet y proporciona una recopilación de los datos que se tienen sobre esta especie en cuanto a distribución, hábitat y biología, aunque hay que precisar que está muy poco estudiada.

ABSTRACT: In Europe Trichaphanus fuentei (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Lygaeidae) is present only in the Iberian Peninsula. This note presents the first photographs of this species in the Internet and provides a collection of the data held on distribution, habitat and biology of this species, although it should be noted that very little information is available.
