ABSTRACT: A recent finding of a mantis on the Greek island of Crete is reported and discussed. Additional information on the distribution and similarity of Hierodula transcaucasica Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878 and Sphodromantis viridis (Forskål, 1775) is given.

ABSTRACT: The occurrence of Leucozona laternaria (Müller, 1776) is reported on the Iberian Peninsula for the first time. New records of the other species of Leucozona Schiner, 1860 present in the area under study are also reported. A key to the three Iberian species of this genus follows.

A continuación, se presenta una clave para la identificación de las tres especies ibéricas de este género.

ABSTRACT: Continuing with the revision of the Iberian species of the genus Rhagio Fabricius, 1775, Rhagio atlanticus sp. nov. is described as another new species from the Iberian Peninsula. The species has been found in northwestern Spain and the northern half of Portugal. It is closely related to Rhagio scolopaceus (Linnaeus, 1758) and it is compared to all the European species with spotted wings. Rhagio medeae Iacob, 1971 is established as a new synonym of R. scolopaceus. Rhagio maculipennnis (Loew, 1854) and Rhagio sardous Szilády, 1934 are recorded for the first time in nearly a century. A key for the identification of all European species of this group is provided.

RESUMEN: Continuando con la revisión de las especies ibéricas del género Rhagio Fabricius, 1775, se describe Rhagio atlanticus sp. nov., otra especie nueva de Rhagio Fabricius, 1775, de la Península Ibérica. La especie se ha encontrado en el noroeste de España y en la mitad norte de Portugal. Está estrechamente emparentada con Rhagio scolopaceus (Linnaeus, 1758) y se compara con todas las especies europeas de alas manchadas. Se establece Rhagio medeae Iacob, 1971, como un nuevo sinónimo de R. scolopaceus. Rhagio maculipennnis (Loew, 1854) y Rhagio sardous Szilády, 1934, se citan por primera vez después de casi un siglo. Se proporciona una clave de identificación para todas las especies europeas de este grupo.

RESUMEN: En esta nota se presentan nuevos registros de Coenagrion caerulescens (Fonscolombe, 1838) en Asturias, tras 30 años sin citas bibliográficas en esta región. Por otro lado, estos datos coinciden con los de mayor altitud conocida para la especie en la Península Ibérica y Europa. Por último, se analiza la situación de este taxón, vulnerable en España y en regresión en Europa, en el noroeste de la Península Ibérica.

ABSTRACT: In this note new records of Coenagrion caerulescens (Fonscolombe, 1838) for the province of Asturias are reported, after 30 years without literature records for this region. On the other hand, these data coincide with the highest known altitude for the species on the Iberian Peninsula and in Europe. Finally, the situation of this taxon, vulnerable in Spain and decreasing in Europe, in the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula is analyzed.
